Lou Ann's Story
Hello! I live in Oklahoma City and work in the public schools as a speech-language pathologist. I am so very blessed to be married to my wonderful husband and have my two kids and my beautiful granddaughter. I am working towards getting certified in hippotherapy (equine-assisted therapy) and will eventually have my own equine-assisted therapy practice.

I just want to let the reader know that I lost one of my lifelong best friends on August 2, 2006. Janet Long Powell passed from complications from a botched surgery. She was only 44 years old. If you know me then you knew her and you know we were inseparable. I miss her every day; I know we'll eventually be together again. Let the people you love know you love them now.
